10 More Weeks :)

Well I am 30 weeks today! Only 10 more weeks to go! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by! I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, and then I'll be going every 2 weeks. Last week Dale did a 3D ultrasound on me and we got some really good pictures. When he first started looking, she was completely turned around facing my back, so we were afraid we wouldn't get any pictures at all, but then all the sudden she turned around and he said she was in the perfect position. I love getting ultrasounds, it's so fun to see her and watch her moving around. I could watch her all day long! I also love to feel her in my belly. It's the coolest thing ever! I can feel her kicking and moving all day long, and I just love it! I can't wait to meet her!

Our New Home

We moved into our house on new year's weekend, and stayed there for the first time on January 9th. We have slowly been trying to get settled and make it our home, and we've enjoyed every minute of it. There's still a lot of decorating to do, but here are a few pictures.

I didn't include any pictures of the baby's room, because I want to wait until it's all done and put together, then post the finished product :)

More to come....

Ok, I have been horrible about keeping up with my blog, but with good reason. We finally moved into our house on January 9th! We've been so busy getting moved in and settled, not to mention working on top of it all and I've just had absolutely no spare time! We've officially been here for a month. It's been wonderful, we've loved it so far! It feels so rewarding to finally have a home of our own, that's ours! It was so worth the wait.

I love our new ward. I've already got a calling. They asked me to be the pianist in Relief Society. It will feel like a cake job I'm sure after playing the organ for so long in my old ward. I'm excited to get to know new people and make some new friends.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant today, and things are going really well. I've been feeling really good most days. I can't believe it's coming so fast. The time is literally flying! We've had so much fun buying her car seat, stroller, crib, bedding and things for her room. I'm so glad she has a room of her own in our new house, and doesn't have to share a room with the computer and treadmill like she would have had to in our little apartment! :)

Anyways, that's our crazy busy life in a nutshell. I'll post pictures soon!! Love you all!

Christmas 2009

Christmas was a little different this year. We didn't put a tree up in our apartment because we thought we were going to be in our house. We were in a big mess with packing and boxes everywhere, so we went over to my mom and dad's on Christmas eve and spent the night. Monica, Dewey and Ellie were staying there also, and MiKell, Lee, Kaden and Grandma Monsen all came over. We had the whole family minus Kyler :( and it was a lot of fun. Mom made a yummy dinner, then we read the Christmas story out of the bible and Kaden sang some songs for us. My mom and dad had just gotten a package from Kyler that had a bunch of Canadian stuff he had sent home, so we took a while and looked at all the fun things in there.

The most special part of the night though came when my mom handed each of us girls a present. My mom had gone down to Blanding the first weekend of December to meet her brothers and sisters and start cleaning out my Grandma McDaniel's house. For years my grandma would give us each books for Christmas, and I always loved opening them and seeing what book she got that year. We opened our presents and they were books from my Grandma. She had already bought them and had names on them of who they were to going to be given to. She always had her Christmas shopping done early on in the year. She passed away in October, so never got the chance to give them to us. I was so touched, and we were all a bawling mess! I will cherish all her books forever, they mean so much to me.

It was a lot of fun staying the night at my mom and dad's and waking up and having Christmas morning with them. We got up and made a yummy breakfast, then opened presents and then got to talk to KYLER on the phone! It was so much fun to talk to him. He sounds so good. He's loving his mission. Then we went over and spent the day with Ben's family. It was a wonderful Christmas, and even though we were virtually homeless and had absolutely no decorations up, I'm sure it will be one we'll never forget!

My mom LOVES peanut M&M's and Kaden was so excited to give her present to her

Ellie loved the Canadian flag Kyler sent home
