Easter Weekend/Cason's Baptism

For Easter my mom and went down to Monica's.  We left Friday afternoon when I got off work.  We dyed Easter eggs that night.

Misti and Dustin's son, Cason was baptized on Saturday, April 7th, so Brooklyn and I left Monica's early in the morning and headed down to Richfield for the day.  It was such a beautiful morning, I couldn't help but stop at the Manti temple and get a couple of pictures of Brooklyn.  It was a little chilly though, she was telling me "cold, brrr"

I'm so glad we were able to go to Cason's baptism.  He was so excited to be baptized and was so cute about it all day! After the baptism, Misti and Dustin had a nice meal at their house and Grandma Batty had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids.  Brooklyn had a blast playing with her cousins all afternoon.
Brooklyn and Wakefield are too cute!  I love their pose on their lounge chairs!

After spending the day in Richfield with Ben's family, Brookie and I drove back to Moroni.  It was a lot of fun to have Easter morning with Monica and her kids.  They were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny left them.  We had a little egg hunt, and then got all dressed up in our Easter best and went to church.

This is the best picture I could get of Brooklyn in her pretty Easter dress.  Gotta love her and her beautiful facial expressions ;)

Kyler came over after church and spent some time with us before we had to leave.

We came home to a wonderful surprise!  Ben was supposed to be working that night until 11:00, but had gotten off early, so he was there when we got home.  He was so sweet and had hidden eggs all over the house for Brooklyn to find.  She was so excited to see her daddy, and had fun on her 3rd egg hunt of the weekend! Happy Easter!!!

April

April was an absolutely CRAZY month!  We had things going on every single weekend.  We had so much fun though. We started out the month by making Easter treats with my mom, MiKell, Kaden and Kenadee.  My mom and I wanted to get together with them and do this since we were going to be out of town on Easter.  We made rice krispie treats and the kids had a lot of fun!  Grandpa even came up and visited for a minute.
