6 Month pictures

Amanda took these cute pictures of Brooklyn in October when she was about 6 months old. They turned out adorable, I love them!

She wasn't too happy here, but I love the expressions on her face!
How precious is this one of her and Ben? It brings the biggest smile to my face!

October 2010

While Monica and Ellie were out for a visit we wanted to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather so we took the girls, plus mom and Kaden to the Dinosaur Museam. Brooklyn thought it was pretty exciting and slept through the whole thing! Afterwards, we went to Wendy's for lunch.
Kaden had a little too much fun posing with all the dinosaurs! He's such a fun kid to be around.

Little Witches

Ellie was a witch for Halloween so she brought her costume out to show us. We dressed Brooklyn up in her little witch costume too for some pictures.

Batty for Daddy

Dan, Nikki and Wake came out for a visit and Wake and Brooklyn had matching Halloween shirts. They say "Batty for Daddy" It was quite a chore trying to get both of them to look at the camera, they were both just pushing and poking at each other. It is so entertaining to watch them play together!

Sleeping Beauty

Brooklyn has never been a very good napper. We usually only get one or two 20 minute naps during the daytime. She will fight it and fight it and then eventually just be so tired that she'll crash wherever she is, whether it's face first on the floor, in her bumbo, walker or high chair!
This was one night when I was feeding her and she fell asleep mid-meal! Poor little thing, she was so tired!!

Random pics of Brooklyn

How did we get so lucky to have such an amazing little girl? She is so much fun!!

6 Months

Brooklyn turned 6 months old on October 22nd!! Wow, how the time flies! She also started crawling at 6 months!! She loves her fruits and veggies and her oatmeal and rice cereal. She is such a good eater, as you can tell in the pictures. I love her little chubby cheeks!

Jazz

First Jazz game of the season! Brookie looked so cute in her Jazz outfit. There's no doubt she'll be a fan too!

Carving Pumpkins

We invited MiKell, Lee and Kaden over to carve pumpkins. Brookie absolutely loved it. She had so much fun digging in the pumpkin seeds and was such a mess! I love her huge smile in all the pictures. She loves getting dirty and was just in heaven! Ben carved an eyeball and Kaden of course carved the Yankees logo. What a fun night with family!! (Click the picture to make it bigger)

Halloween

For Halloween Brooklyn was the cutest little butterfly we've ever seen! We went and visited our parents, friends, my grandma, then went to our ward's trunk-or-treat. We had a lot of fun! (Click the picture to make it bigger)

September 2010

In September my aunt Adele invited my mom and I along with my sisters, aunts and cousins, down to Blanding for a girls weekend. We spent the weekend at her home scrapbooking, quilting, eating talking, staying up late and just enjoying each others company. It was so much fun, and I hope it will be a tradition that we keep on doing every year. Since my grandma passed away, we might not make it down to Blanding very often, unless we have things like this to get us together, so I really appreciated Adele's efforts in putting this together.

My grandma's headstone was finished so my mom, Brookie and I stopped by to see it. It's beautiful and really reflects her and grandpas lives together.
Always such a happy girl
All the girls at dinner on our last night there.

Golfing

Ben, Kaden, Brooklyn and I went golfing one night after work and we had a great time. It was a beautiful night and it was so nice to be outside enjoying the nice weather.

Smashed little finger!

Poor little Brookie had her first owie! I was at work and Ben called me telling me that he just smashed Brooklyn's finger in the back door. He was holding her and walking out the door, and just as he closed the door, she stuck her hand out and the door shut on it. He felt horrible! Notice the last picture, even when she's hurt, she's still got a smile on her face. She's such a sweetheart!

I was packing away Brooklyn's clothes that she had outgrown, and I found her little outfit that she came home from the hospital in. I couldn't believe how little it looked next to her! I have to admit it made me a little sad to see how much she had grown.
What a cutie pie!
Ben and I thought she looked like Toad from Mario Bros. in this hat. What a funny girl! She is so full of personality!
