Happy Birthday Ben!

Ben's birthday was on the 26th, and he turned 26! I can't believe we're getting so old! After I got off work we had dinner over at my mom and dad's with MiKell, Lee and Kaden and Grandma Monsen. Then we went up to his mom and dad's house for cake and ice cream with them and Dale and Shannon's family. It was a fun night for us, thanks everyone for helping us celebrate! Happy birthday Ben, I love ya babe!!

Weekend Getaway!

I know, three posts in one day, you're going to think I'm sick or something. Anyways....

On Friday I was at work and I called Ben and asked him what he wanted to do for the weekend. He said he wanted to get out of town (with his work and homework and everything he's been feeling really cooped up lately). So spur of the moment we decided to head out to Salt Lake. We got a room downtown, went to dinner, then just relaxed. The next day we went shopping at The Gateway and just hung out for awhile and then headed home. It was such a fun, relaxing day, I'm so glad we went. I love spontaneous trips like this when we don't have a plan or a care in the world! I love my hubby, he's the best.

Valentine's Day

I'm late posting this but I still wanted to. The weekend of Valentine's Ben had to work so I asked Kaden if he wanted to have a sleepover with me. We had a lot of fun. On Friday night we went to the Uintah basketball game. He loves going and a lot of kids that Kyler was friends with are still playing so it's been fun to go watch some of their games this year. After the game we came home and baked some Valentine cookies and played some games on the computer. Ben got home around 11:00 and he and Kaden stayed up till 3:00 in the morning playing Monopoly. I went to bed about midnight. I like my sleep a lot more than I like Monopoly! We got up on Valentines morning and made some pink colored heart shaped pancakes and just hung out with Ben before he had to go into work. Thanks Kaden for being my cute little Valentine!

Ice Fishing

Ben LOVES ice fishing. He's had several opportunities to go this year with either his friend Brandon or his brothers and his dad. A couple of weeks ago he, Dan and Dale went up fishing on Steinaker. They always have a blast, and I'm glad they have something they all enjoy that they can do together.
