Halloween 2011

Halloween was so much fun this year! I've decided that kids just make every holiday better, period. Brooklyn was the cutest little cupcake around.

She was a little scared of Dad's Russian hat.

She was also a little scared of Dale. He always has the funniest costumes!

She even got in on the fun. Isn't she cute?

Kenadee was an adorable little Ladybug

Easton was a cute little Tiger

By the time Smuin's came over, Brooklyn was more than ready to be out of her costume and in bed!

Their friend was Justin Bieber and the girls were his groupies, they were so funny!

Jensen Pumpkin Festival

After we had our family pictures we headed to Jensen for the annual Pumpkin Festival. This is something I really enjoy going to every year. There were a lot of really neat displays, but the one of the American flag was my favorite. I love doing things together as a family.

She fell asleep the second we got in the car to head home. We wore the poor girl out.

Family Pictures 2011

The end of October we had Kristi Simmons take some family pictures of us and I was so happy with them. She does an amazing job. Brooklyn wasn't smiling very good until we started playing in the leaves and then she just lit up. At the end of the session, Kristi was trying to get a couple of pictures of just Ben and I and Brooklyn was over chasing the chickens around. We were all cracking up. She was trying to get a serious pic of us and we just couldn't do it, so instead she turned around and got an adorable picture of Brooklyn and the chickens, which turned out to be one of my favorites.

Carving Pumpkins

We had Mom and Dad, MiKell, Lee, Kaden and Kenadee over to carve pumpkins and watch the World Series. Brooklyn loved digging in and getting dirty, and as always Ben and Kaden's pumpkins turned out great.

The eyes on Ben's pumpkin were a trace of Brooklyn's hands, it was so cool.

Kaden always carves an awesome pumpkin too
