She started rolling over really well in August. She could roll all over the room and get from one end of the room to another so fast.

This summer and fall we went to a lot of Kaden's football and baseball games. It was fun to take her and she really enjoyed being outside and being around all the people. She would always cry at the football games when they would score a touchdown and everyone would start cheering. It scared her a little bit, but after a minute she was smiling and happy again!
Brookie turned 4 months old on August 22nd. We always have to take 100 pictures to get a couple of good ones!
4 month check up. More shots :( She was such a tough girl though, and hardly even cried.
We started giving her rice cereal and fruits and veggies. She loves them!

JULY 2010

Monica came out with Ellie and we had fun hanging out with them. Ellie still wasn't quite sure if she liked Brooklyn, but we finally talked her into giving her a kiss on the cheek. Then we had her hold her for a second, but that didn't last long. We could barely snap a picture before she started pushing her off her lap!
A few of our friends went camping on the 24th of July and we went up for the night to hang out and have dinner. It was a lot of fun.
On the 22nd of July Brooklyn turned 3 months old!

Brooklyn got to meet all of her cousins over the weekend. They all came out for her blessing. Misti's family stayed at our house and it was so much fun to have them here. Our families are so supportive! Thanks everyone for coming to the blessing, we love you so much!!

Brooklyn and Wakefield. I was so excited to get a picture of the two of them. Wake is 2 months older than Brooklyn. I'm sure they'll be good friends someday.

Brooklyn's blessing day

Brooklyn was blessed on Sunday July 4th. The 4th of July has always been a special day for Ben and I because that's the day we were engaged 6 years ago. It was great to be able to have her blessed that same day, I was glad that Brooklyn could be a little part of our special day. It really made me feel complete as a little family. Ben gave her an amazing blessing, and we had everyone from both families there, except Kyler (who comes home in 4 months!). Afterward, we had planned on having a luncheon in Batty's backyard. The wind and rain almost ruined our plans, but we ended up moving the lunch into their garage and it all turned out great. After the luncheon we all headed down to the park for the fireworks. We had such a great day! We are so blessed to have such a beautiful baby girl. We love her so much!!

The day before her blessing, my mom gave me these cute little booties. They were the same booties that I was blessed in, so that was so special to me to have Brooklyn blessed in them too!

She really liked watching the fireworks at first, until a really loud, bright one went off. Then I spent the rest of the night trying to calm her down :) What a fun ending to a perfect day!!
