Friday morning, before we headed up to Yellowstone, we went over to Beth's house to visit her new baby boy, Kohen. He is a doll! I was so glad I got to visit with her and see him for a few minutes!
Saturday we went into the park and spent quite a while there. We went to Old Faithful, and walked around to all the pools and geysers around there. We were driving behind this car for a while and all the sudden this guy pokes up out of his sunroof and just rode along like that taking pictures. It was cracking us up!
Misti and her kids hiked around with us all day! They were troopers!
Of course, everyone wanted to see a bear, but this is the only one we did see! Lots of buffalo and elk though!
On Sunday morning we went and found a spot and did some family pictures since it was the first time that EVERYONE was together in a long time. Amanda took pictures of each individual family, then set up her tripod and took the big group picture. I thought they turned out really cute. After the pictures everyone kind of did their own thing. Ben and I decided to go into the park again, so we went and drove to the upper and lower falls, and to the mud volcano and sulfer pots. It was a lot of fun to spend a little time with him alone. We went to Yellowstone on our honeymoon almost 5 years ago, so it was fun to go back again.
Monday we got up, cleaned up the cabin and headed home. We stopped at Jackson Hole on the way with Dale and Shannon's family, then finished the LONG drive home.
