Park with the Brunson's

We had a fun day at the park with Miika, Brandon and Easton. Afterwards, we went to lunch at Winger's.

In January we changed our spare bedroom into a play room for Brooklyn and it's been so nice! It's so nice to have all her toys in one place and not have to worry about them being all over the front room or her bedroom. We also put a TV in there, so she loves to play in there while she watches "Mouse" or "Melmo" (Elmo). I found her laying in front of the TV like this the other day, asleep.

Little Sicky :(

Poor girl was sick for a few days with the croup and an ear infection. All she wanted to do was lay in either my bed or on the recliner in the living room and watch "Mouse" all day.

Making Cupcakes

I've decided to do an Owl theme for Brooklyn's birthday party this year, and I found some cute owl cupcakes online that I wanted to try out, so I made some to practice. Brooklyn loves to help me cook and bake. She is such a little monkey and loves to stand up on the chairs and the counter. I know I look like the worst mother in the world here, with my baby in her diaper, on top of the counter, holding a knife, but I promise I was standing right next to her the whole time! :)

We thought they turned out pretty cute. I'm planning on making these along with some other things for her birthday party next month.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Brooklyn was a cute little leprechaun on St. Patty's Day

We tried to go have a nice dinner at Don Pedro's with Ben's mom and dad (I wish I would have taken pics there). We were at the restaurant for a whole 10 minutes, when Brooklyn started screaming and crying to get out of her high chair and wanting to run around the restaurant. We hadn't even ordered yet, and I knew we weren't going to have a very enjoyable dinner, so I left and ran her to my parent's house to play while we ate. The terrible two's have already begun! I don't know what we're in for, but it's a good thing she's so cute, it sure gets her out of a lot of trouble!

My Cute Little Helper

Brookie loves to help mommy clean the house, but especially loves helping with the laundry. She helps me put the clothes into the washer and dryer, and she always wants to help carry the laundry baskets around the house no matter how heavy they are.

Bath in the Kitchen Sink

Who says an almost 2 year old is too big to bath in the sink? Just for fun, we put her in the kitchen sink for her bath, and she thought it was the funnest thing ever! Silly girl!

We love our daily walks!

Brooklyn and I love to take advantage of any nice, warm Spring day, and go for a walk. The weather has been beautiful here most days this spring, and we have really enjoyed our walks! She loves to be outside and will eat sit in her stroller and eat her snacks (juice, goldfish, and teddy grahams mostly) while we walk. My mom usually comes with us, which Brooklyn also loves!

Shannon's Birthday

My sister-in-law, Shannon's birthday was on March 9th. Brooklyn and I went over to their house for her birthday party. Ben had to work that night. Brooklyn loves playing with Zuri, they had fun that night dressing up in Zuri's princess clothes.
